Singing Coaching

Wendy offers vocal coaching for individuals that focuses on developing confidence, having fun while exploring your voice. While vocal exercises are used to develop strength and technique, the main focus of lessons is to sing songs that inspire the student to develop and connect deeper into their own sense of music and expression. Students should expect to gain confidence singing, musicianship skills and build a repertoire of songs that they love to sing.

Piano/Keyboard Tuition

Wendy offers piano and keyboard lessons in modern music styles to children and adults.  Focusing of building a strong foundation in musicianship, theory and aural skills while having fun and building confidence.

The Power of Music!

Music is innate in all people within all cultures and everyone can enjoy the benefits of making music. Whether it be expressed through singing, drumming, dance or playing an instrument, music has a power that inspires, transforms and brings joy.

​

Wendy's philosophy is that if you have a voice then you can sing. This does not mean that we will all be stars or professional singers however in the right environment we can all enjoy self expression through singing and the freedom and joy this brings when we allow our voice to open.

 

An essential part in our creative process is to allow ourselves to be where we are at at all stages in our development and journey so we can enjoy the process of discovery as we allow our creative energy to find itself and grow. Creativity is not a linear process but one that ebbs and flows to its own rhythm,  at times soaring to new levels of inspiration and mastery and at times static as we integrate what we have learned and wait for the crystallization of the new to emerge. This is the nature of the creative process in all areas of life.  Our musical expression is an extension and reflection of our inner world. Singing and playing instrument will lead us to greater levels of awareness, Joy, freedom and connection to our true nature and life.
